Mphil/PhD Student

Outstanding individuals with a strong commitment to original research are encouraged to apply. Applicants should have satisfactory scores in TOEFL (internet-based: 80 or above) or IELTS (6.5 or above), or Doulingo (105 or above). Excellent academic record, English communication skills, team-working abilities, self-motivation, and research potential are essential.
A full scholarship will be offered to successful Mphil/Ph.D. applicants.

Research Associate / Postdoc Fellow

Research Associate or Postdoc Fellow is now available for several research projects.
Requirements for Postdoc Fellow and Rsearch Associate:

  • A PhD degree in Environmental Science or related disciplines, specializing in Atmospheric Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, etc.
  • Research experience in Atmospheric Chemistry with field observation and/or laboratory experiments add/or model simulations.
  • Preferably with experience with online and offline mass spectrometric analysis of atmospheric pollutants (e.g., PTR-MS, CIMS, etc.) and/or hands-on experiences with chamber or flow tube experiments
  • Demonstrated research records with high quality publications
  • Data analysis skills, good teamwork spirits, and good communication skills including written and spoken English.
  • Hardworking, and ability to conduct research independently.

Research Assistant Professor (RAP)

Requirements for RAP

  • A recent PhD graduate (within five years) in Environmental or Chemistry related disciplines, specializing in Atmospheric Chemistry and Air Quality Studies
  • Ideal candidates should have a strong commitment to research excellence and teaching, with the potential to conduct innovative research. 
  • Track record in gaining competitive research grants and a substantial publication record would be an advantage. 
  • Successful candidates are expected to develop their own research program in one of the major research themes of the department, and take the lead on individual research project to obtain competitive research funding. 
  • They will also be involved in teaching or co-teaching postgraduate or undergraduate courses.
